一粒の種は、
光や、雨や、里山の自然に育まれ、
生野らんぷになりました。
夏の終わりに収穫した
ひょうたんに、
数えきれないくらい
穴をあけて、
点描模様を刻みます。

里山の暮らしの中で、
ハッとした風景の模様や、
空想散歩の中で浮かんだ物語の模様が、
影絵のように
辺りいっぱい広がります。

「　生野らんぷ　」

生まれる野原「生野」と書いて、
「ぐみの」と読みます。
わたしたちのひょうたん畑がある、
熊本の小さな集落のなまえです。
毎年、収穫したひょうたんで、
「 物語を灯す 」
「自然の中でみつけた模様」
をテーマに制作しています。

our name wrote in japanese character as
" 生＝birth 野原＝field and we read it as "gumino".
It is the name of our small village
in Kumamoto prefecture japan .
we planting the gourd in every years
and produce it to be lamp.
our lamp pattern theme is inspire from the nature
and some of them inspire from "Story " as we
call '' lamp and story''
